Pankajam school, located in the small town of Bodinayakanur in Theni district is a lifeline for 1150 girl students. Started 70 years ago with a vision to support women’s education, the school till now has empowered thousands of young girls from challenging backgrounds. The major challenge here is the lack of basic amenities like restrooms. Children from the class of 6 to 12 who study here has only 5 functional toilets for their use.
